Terms of Service

What this platform is
MyTankGuy (operated by My Guy Enterprises LLC) connects homeowners with independent local service providers. The providers are independent businesses — not our employees — and they perform the work. We handle the booking, scheduling, notifications, and payment processing.
Booking and payment
The price you see when booking is the full price you'll pay — no surprise fees at the door. A payment card is saved when you book, but you are not charged until the provider marks the job complete. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Cancellations and rescheduling
- You can reschedule or cancel free of charge through your booking link until 24 hours before your appointment window. Inside 24 hours, contact your provider directly.
- Reschedule requests take effect when your provider accepts them (or automatically if the provider doesn't respond within 24 hours).
- If your provider cancels, we'll try to place your appointment with another qualified provider, or tell you honestly if we can't. Since you're only charged after completion, a cancelled booking is never charged.
Notifications
Booking requires a working email address and mobile number. By booking, you agree to receive appointment-related emails and text messages (booking updates and service reminders). Reply STOP to any text to opt out. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
The work itself
Service providers are solely responsible for the work they perform, including licensing, insurance, and workmanship. If something goes wrong with a job, contact your provider first — and let us know at contact@mytankguy.com so we can help resolve it.
